April 20, 2009 Press Release by Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue about the final report of the Tough Choices Or Tough Times Working Group. (Report PDF)

SEA specializes in forming and advising non-profit partnerships in communities and/or regions to focus on the recommendations of this report.

These partnerships always combine the efforts and resources of one or more public school districts, one or more technical/community colleges, the local or regional business community and parents.

All of the recommendations of this report can be accomplished (locally or regionally) by following the ADDIE process and starting a charter career academy.

SEA will come to your community, do a low-cost community snapshot survey, and meet and present to key stakeholders about ADDIE and charter career academies. Call or email for more information!

Of additional interest is the fact that three of the members of the Working Group also sit on the Georgia Charter Schools Commission (Dr. Ben Scafidi, Dr. Charles Knapp, and Jennifer Rippner Buck). SEA serves clients who have applied to that Commission, and SEA attends all Commission meetings.
